1. Eligibility
You must be 18+ and a UAE resident with a valid Emirates ID to open an account.
2. The service
Bezaty provides Sharia-compliant digital wallet, transfer, and (for VIP members) point-of-sale and VAT tools. We are not a licensed bank; deposits are held with our partner financial institution.
3. Fees
Every wallet deposit, withdrawal and transfer carries a 2% commission + 5% VAT on the commission (UAE VAT Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017).
Card payments: sending payments using a UAE debit card, UAE credit card, international payment card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay is 2.8% + 1 AED per transaction.
VIP plan: 28 AED / month, charged from your wallet balance.
Fees are disclosed before each transaction and itemised in your statement.
4. Your obligations
Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secret, and do not use Bezaty for illegal activity, money laundering, terrorism financing, or any purpose prohibited by UAE law (Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2018, Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on cybercrime).
5. Sharia compliance
Bezaty operates on profit-sharing and service-fee principles. We do not offer interest-bearing products (riba).
6. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, fail KYC, or where required by regulators. You may close your account at any time; statutory retention of records still applies.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the UAE. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai. You may also escalate to Sanadak (UAE financial-sector ombudsman) at https://sanadak.gov.ae.
9. Changes
We may amend these terms with 14 days' in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
